Ada German

Oil & Acrylic Painter

For Ada, making art is an "aspiration from my youth achieved."

A prolific artist, she paints  Southwest and Northwest landscapes, seascapes of the Pacific Northwest,  florals  and portraits.  She paints in acrylic or oil  on canvas or panel board.  Her technic is traditional and her style is a combination of Realism and Impression.

Although Ada was active in a number of art associations in Oregon and Arizona and attended workshops, and local classes, her formal training was at Kachina School of Art in Phoenix, Arizona, where she completed a two-year Master Artist Painting course.  She also studied portraiture from the renown Muralist and Portrait Artist  Jay Datus, Founder of the school.

Her favorite painting is "Behold The Lamb" which was inspired in church by the choir singing an Easter cantata.  It is found on the page BEHOLD THE LAMB.
