Ada German

Oil & Acrylic Painter

For Ada, making art is an "aspiration from my youth achieved."

A prolific artist, she paints  Southwest and Northwest landscapes, seascapes of the Pacific Northwest,  florals  and portraits.  She paints in acrylic or oil  on canvas or panel board.  Her technic is traditional and her style is a combination of Realism and Impression.

Although much of Ada's skill is self-taught,  she earned a two-year diploma from Kachina School of Art in Phoenix, Arizona, and studied portraiture from the renown portrait artist and muralist, the late  Jay Datus, Founder of the school.

Her favorite painting is "Behold The Lamb" which was inspired in church by the choir singing an Easter contata.  It is found on the Inspiration Page.
